19 Mar: One Year Ago

A year ago we brought Cedar home from the Coast. We'd picked her up at the end of February and spent a week taking her to the beaches of Parksville, before heading back to the dry prairie.

 This year we've had more snow overall, but managed to get a similar shot in between snow squalls/

Hmmm that duck really shrank in a year... :)

 Of course her coordination hasn't necessarily caught up with her bigger size

Help there's a duck kicking me in the eye!

 And I sure hope she won't carry real birds by the wingtip...

...Or fling them in the air!
