December 7a: 10 Days of Blazingstar - Never a dull moment

The prairie looks so peaceful in the early morning (-14°C!) chill. Frost decorates the fall brown of the grasses and leftover seedheads.

All is peaceful, that is, until the frosty slobber monsters came out

A chilly & unhappy Tinbie
Cava, flapping her ears for warmth (trying hard to fly?)

Thought I'd get a group shot of everyone with their morning frosty chests, yeah right! As usual, the Blazingstar crew sat nicely (Milkbone power!), while our Little Miss Wingnut ripped around the prairie like an ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Dog?) poster child on a strict sugar and RedBull diet.
"Cedar COME!"

Frozen Beard portrait time...guess who's short attention span f'd that up?
Sigh, so much for morning pictures...frozen fingers and hungry dogs, we turned back for breakfast and a much more exciting afternoon walk. Stay tuned for: Cedar & the Blazingstar Cliff Rescue Team :)

Here's a teaser to put the next post in context....
