Another fine day out visiting Liz at Blazingstar, with the nice weather we headed down to the river with Lupine & Tinbie to teach Cedar to swim. Since she just 'loves' Tinbie, we figured she'd follow him anywhere...and she did :)

After mucking around in the main channel of the Old Man River, Liz took us over to the 'kiddie pool', a nice sandie shallow pool of quiescent water where Cedar could try her paw at swimming without being swept kilometres downstream.

A little more goofing around fetching sticks and Liz, Tinbie and Lupine ended up on one side of the pool and us on the other. A little coaxing from Liz and Cedar was up for another crossing of the pool!

Cedar was running out of steam and fading fast, but Lupey cheered her on! (or wondered what the hell just washed up on shore?)

Collapsing after her English Channel-like crossing of the pond, cedar was greeted by the Enablers of Blazingstar! :)

We thought she was pretty much done here but the crinkle of a snack bag on the far side of the pond worked wonders for the little girl with a big heart!

Cedar had a blast today, no fear of the water at all, which is cool since we got her a baby pool the day before and she only goes up to her 'knees'.

These just made me laugh out loud. What a character. Love the look on Tinbie's face when she washes up on shore. On the last photo her eyes show she is running on pure adrenalin. Time to go nappy. Thanks you guys, made my day seeing these.
