Cedar was up early this morning hopping around with her pail and shovel, obviously a hint for going back to the beach. We popped down around the corner and drove by Mom's old house and took a shot of her old (and aptly named) street sign:

Look familiar mom? |
We then went down to a little private beach mom used to go to just around the corner, nice and quiet and all to our selves. It was high tide this time, which was OK as Cedar could mess around on cobbles and logs today for something different, which she seemed to like.

It got a little windy, so much so that someone got a little crazy once we got out into it

Much better!
She then got up on the log and started playing in the wind, looking like she was flying.

A good day at the beach again, Cedar seemed to have issues with the wind...not good considering where we live :) It was fun to go back to familiar old haunts, be around the ocean again, Cedar seemed to have fun when she wasn't raging against the wind and no bath needed today so she was quite happy.
great pictures, love the one with her eyes rolling into her head !
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of Sarah & Cedar!
