April: Lovely Lupine

Still getting caught up! Cedar still hadn't had her final set of shots, so she was limited to where we could take her. Lucky for her we were heading out to Blazingstar today to for the 'great potato trade' with  Liz Saunders.

We'd gotten together with Liz and ordered enough potatoes between us to stop any future famines - that is another story in itself. Needless to say, Blazingstar won't be without potatoes this year!

We borrowed the lovely Lupine for a walk to the river while Liz finished up some work in the house.

After little computer glitch I'm hoping things are back on track.

After the Easter training was done Liz did her best to herd the dogs & people down to the river for a little R&R, a swim, and a group picture.

Easter 2012 Part 1: Death of the Easter Bunny

This post is a bunch of pictures taken on Easter Sunday out at Blazingstar, where Liz & Andy hosted a fantastic day of retriever training along with Easter goodies for the dogs and people, followed by a free-for all down at the river when it was done. A great day!  (unless you were the Easter Bunny)

13 wks: Cedar learns to swim...kinda

Another fine day out visiting Liz at Blazingstar, with the nice weather we headed down to the river with Lupine & Tinbie to teach Cedar to swim. Since she just 'loves' Tinbie, we figured she'd follow him anywhere...and she did :)

Cedar & the Tin Man

We spent a great day with Cedar out at Blazingstar last week as Liz let us borrow Jasper's brother Tinbie (aka The Tin-Man) for a bit so that Cedar would get some quality dog-based exercise & socialization, as well as a fun afternoon with her favourite Flatcoat :)     I think she has a crush on him...who wouldn't!
